.SEMI’S AND QUALIFYING WILL BE 3 GAMES ACROSS 6 LANES
HANDICAP 90% OF 210 ADJUSTED AVERAGES ABOVE 210 WILL BOWL SCRATCH /AVERAGES WILL BE VERIFIED PRIOR TO BOWLING. Highest Bowl.com average for the last 2 years, if no other average is published or verifiable, then tournament averages MAY be accepted. If no verifiable average, bowler will bowl scratch. Please bring proof of average when entering the event for the first time.
ENTERING TOURNAMENT AVERAGES WILL BE ASSIGNED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR.
TOURNAMENT AVERAGE WILL BE ESTABLISHED AT 12 GAMES
THERE WILL BE NO MORE THAN A 30 GAME AVERAGE CARRIED AT ANYTIME.NO BOWLER WILL BE ALLOWED TO DROP MORE THAN TEN PINS FROM THEIR 12 GAME AVERAGE BOWLERS HANDICAP AND AVERAGE WILL BE FROZEN AT THAT POINT UNTIL THEY REACH THE 30 GAME POINT IF AT THAT TIME THEIR AVERAGE IS STILL BELOW THE 12 GAME AVERAGE IT WILL REMAIN FROZEN UNTIL THEY ARE WITHIN THE 10 PIN DROP RULE.
Any game that is 40 pins below a bowlers’ tournament average during qualifying or semi’s will be thrown out and NOT counted as a game bowled towards their tournament average. Games may be counted if the game had a larger number of splits than a normal game. If the bowler feels the game should count they must have the director verify the game and initial that it will be used in calculating tournament averages Bracket or Hi game only squads will not be used to calculate tournament averages.
BOWLERS WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO INSPECT THEIR AVERAGE RECORD AT ANYTIME DURING AN EVENT.
QUALIFYING WILL BE BY AVERAGE CLASSIFICATIONS
DIV A 180 AND UP (HANDICAP 0 TO 27)
DIV B 179 TO 168 (HANDICAP 28 TO 37)
DIV C 167 TO 158 (HANDICAP 38 TO 46)
DIV D 157 TO 148 (HANDICAP 47 TO 55)
DIV E 147 AND BELOW (HANDICAP 56 PINS AND UP) NO CAP ON HANDICAP
BOWLERS WILL BE MOVED TO DIFFERENT DIVISIONS AS THEIR TOURNAMENT AVERAGE CHANGES
DIVISIONS MAY BE ADJUSTED TO BALANCE THE COMPETITORS BASED ON THE NUMBER OF
BOWLERS PARTICIPATING IN EACH DIVISION
QUALIFYING
1 IN 4 BOWLERS PER DIVISION PER SQUAD WILL ADVANCE TO SEMI-FINALS, THERE MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 3 ON THE SQUAD IN
ANY DIVISION TO RECEIVE THE CUT TO SEMIS, *IF LESS THAN 3 ON THE SQUAD SCORES WILL CARRY OVER TO NEXT SQUAD IF STILL LESS THAN 5 IN ANY DIVISION AT THE END OF THE DAY ,THAT DIVISION WILL NOT RECEIVE A SPOT IN THE SEMI-FINALS (FOR THAT DAY). IF THERE ARE 4 OR LESS DIVISIONS IN THE SEMIS ,THE DIVISION LEADER AFTER SEMIS WILL ADVANCE TO STEPLADDER + NEXT HIGHEST SCORE(S) REGARDLESS OF DIVISION WILL ADVANCE TO
STEPLADDER FINALS AND BE SEEDED ACCORDING TO SCORE (DIVISION LEADERS WILL BE SEEDED HIGHER THAN NON-DIVISION WINNERS IN THE STEP LADDER FINALS )

Handicaps will be adjusted as follows:
1st place 5 pin loss
2nd place 4 pin loss
3rd place 3 pin loss
4th place 2 pin loss
5th place 1 pin loss
THESE ARE MINIMUM PIN LOSS MAY LOSE MORE PINS IF THEIR 30 GAME OR 12 GAME RE-RATES OCCUR DURING THE EVENT
PBA MEMBERS ARE ELIGIBLE ALL ABOVE AVERAGE RULES APPLY TO NON-CHAMPIONS, PAST PBA CHAMPIONS WILL BOWL SCRATCH (INCLUDES REGIONAL AND ALL OTHER PBA TITLES WHETHER AS A MEMBER OR GUEST). PAST AND PRESENT TEAM USA MEMBERS ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE BUT WILL ALSO BOWL SCRATCH. PAST OR PRESENT USBC EAGLE WINNERS WILL ALSO BOWL SCRATCH. THIS INCLUDES USBC WOMENS CHAMPIONS AND PWBA CHAMPIONS. SCRATCH EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL BOWLERS
Any bowler caught falsifying the recaps will be disqualified and not be allowed to bowl in any future events.
Unsportsmanlike conduct, foul language, equipment abuses or sexual innuendos will not be tolerated. There will be
NO WARNINGS, the bowler will be asked to leave with no refund of any entry fees or other monies paid.
Tournament director reserves the right to re-rate any bowler at any time, if the bowler refuses the re-rate they must withdraw with a full refund of entry fees paid. (NO BRACKET REFUNDS).
Director reserves the right to reject any entry without cause at any time.
Any bowler can bowl bracket squads for only a $15 fee plus $5 per bracket.
Must HAVE BOWLED ONE QUALIFYING SQUAD BEFORE YOU CAN BOWL BRACKETS ONLY
Please wear appropriate attire – collared or mock neck shirts preferred but not required.
NO SHORT SHORTS, TANK TOPS OR LOW-CUT BLOUSES PLEASE.
All Disputes will be settled by the tournament director, and all decisions are final.
